  I paid over $3000.00 for carpet with a clear deadline for installation. I was assurred by "J.R." no problem. My whole reason for selecting this store was because they kept assuring me my deaddline could be met......HA! After weeks of phone calls and broken promises, i finally got it installed...weeks behind schedule. The final straw was when i called about the padding to go in my closet, already paid for and promised it would be delivered, i wait and finally call to find out where it is and am told to come and get it myself if i want it in time for the installers. JR will promise you anything to get your business and then leave you in a jam after he has your money. NO ETHICS or plain incompetent

  I wish I had read this review before I used Best Flooring. I do have to say that the installers were the best experience out of the whole thing. I had to have carpet put in my house as the tile that was there was killing my back and in the winter the floors kept the house so cold. So I called Empire got a quote from them and then thought I would get a second quote and thought I should use a business in the area. Stopped by Best Flooring in Clermont and found some nice carpeting and great underlayment and waited for a quote. The sales rep was to call me Christmas Eve and the call never came. A few days later I called him as he gave me his cell phone number. He had been sick with the flu so no problem. Well later I realize that this is normal they don’t call back and to expect the owner to call you back when something is wrong well not in your dreams will he do that he won’t even look at you when you are in the store. Well they came to install the carpet and were 3 feet short. Now mind you we have packed everything up and moved the stuff to the garage and now they couldn’t finish due to three feet? I was not happy but try to keep calm which I did. They ordered more carpet that (as I was reminded over and over again) was not going to cost me anything extra even though it was not my fault. They put a rush on it and would call me when it came in and would work with me on scheduling the install as they don’t work weekends and I work during the day. Well the carpet was there within a few days but no one called me. I kept calling them over and over again. Last Monday I finally stopped by the store to find out when the carpet will be in I had entertaining two day this coming weekend and needed to know if I needed to cancel. They tried to make me feel that all this was a blessing and I know what a blessing is and yes maybe I am getting free carpet but having to be the project manager when I am the customer is not my idea of a blessing. Due to me stopping by and be more demanding they sent the installers by that day to do the one hour install to complete my house. Oh by the way I found out the carpet came in 5 days ago at least and they had paying customers they had to tend to. I still owed them almost 1800.00 I guess that is chump change to them. Customer service STINKS! They don’t care about their customers unless you are a bigger fish.
